Develop your Mountain Biking skills with some expert guidance.

Mastered the black trails? Fancy racing some enduro? This is the course for you!

You should be very confident riding a mountain bike and regularly ride black graded trails, but want to step up your game to race some enduro or downhill.

During the group session we cover topics such as, but not limited to:

  • Pumping & Fluidity
  • Turning Technique
  • Roots & Ruts
  • Steep & Slippy

This is the perfect preparation for the Campsie Glen Mates Race being held on the 11th of August, as we’ll be using some of the trails featured in the event. Get some useful tips from the creators who will also be present.

The day will be a fun-filled session on various aspects of steep and slippy riding, with a fairly informal tone. Be prepared – this track is steeeeep and slippy, even in the dry! Feel free to visit the track beforehand to get a feel for what’s going on, or see a preview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01bv54U2Vhs

The course is heavily discounted to encourage people to come along and join in the fun – it will be a little less intense than a typical coaching session, and more about having fun.

BRING A MIDGE NET AND SOME REPELLENT!!

Questions are welcome (encouraged!) to help build solid foundations of understanding – no question is too silly and further explanation is always available if requested!

The course will last for 6 hours in total, with a break for lunch somewhere in the middle when it’s convenient for the group.

A short highlights video of the day will be available for participants to share online – this also doubles as a great way to get feedback by seeing yourself ride.

Please bring enough food and water for the day, as well as the mandatory kit – an approved helmet, gloves and well-fitting bike in good working order. Any other equipment is welcome. Flat pedals are preferred!

See our FAQs for extra info and tips prior to the course. If you are unsure if the course if right for you, please submit a rider assessment or if you prefer to discuss directly, feel free to call.
