School holidays with a difference – kids mountain bike fun with expert guidance.

Attending our Youth Academy courses will develop a foundation of core skills and knowledge that will allow your children to ride safely while building confidence. We’ll help to fend off pesky bad habits and common misconceptions that can hinder your kid’s riding development.

The course will take place at Cathkin Braes, a multi-purpose outdoor facility near Glasgow, with a newly developed mountain bike skills area, pump track and trails.

We cater for all abilities, and during the group sessions we cover topics such as, but not limited to:

  • Bike Safety Checks, Setup & Maintenance
  • Speed Control
  • Cornering
  • Descending
  • Climbing
  • Developing Technical Skills
  • Pumping the Trail
  • Skids & Wheelies

We’ll have multiple coaches on-hand throughout the week, so that every child can get the most from their coaching session. We have plenty of fun games and activities to keep the kids entertained while learning and exercising, such as Slow Race, Limbo, Balance Box and Long Jump.
