Give yourself the best chance of succeeding this race season with our dedicated training programmes. Each plan includes the necessary periodisation and taper to ensure you are in the best physical state possible before you race.
Our affordable plans are perfect for those looking to increase their performance but are unable to commit to our custom plans. We have a variety of different programs focused on improving specific aspects of fitness needed to excel in certain disciplines.
All of our programs are scheduled through Training Peaks, a powerful tool making scheduling, viewing and logging hassle-free.
We use heart rate to measure efforts to keep your workouts simple to follow while remaining effective. Every workout that is prescribed is purposefully scheduled with the end fitness adaptions in mind.
Base Fitness
A Beginner program which we suggest undertaking before one of our more specific training programmes. A period of base training is essential in ensuring that you can handle the training load of one of our more specific programmes.
It’s also a great way to familiarise yourself with one of our training plans and get the most out of your training time in the future.
Duration: 12 Weeks
Weekly Commitment: 6 Hours
Experience Level: Beginner
XC Program
Working from heart rate, this programme has the main goal of improving endurance on your mountain bike. We also look at improving specific factors involved in endurance mountain bike racing, like sprinting performance and increasing FTP.
Although not essential, a gym routine focused on strength and stability is beneficial for cross country racers. Typical riders looking to increase general fitness would also benefit from this plan.

Experience Level: Intermediate
Enduro Program
One of the fastest-growing mountain bike disciplines, enduro racers are known for their all-round fitness. Our 12-week enduro crash course encompasses all of the key training characteristics needed to excel.
A popular misconception when training for enduro is to train endurance. Our program takes a different approach, focusing on improving your fitness that directly relates to what you are doing while on the clock.
The plan focuses on preparing you for the high load of a multi-day enduro race weekend while maintaining repeatable, high power efforts where it matters.

Experience Level: Intermediate
Downhill Program
Downhill racing is one of the most physically intensive mountain bike disciplines, with up to 5 minutes of rock smashing mixed with all-out sprinting. Therefore, it’s essential that racers have a training plan to match the intensity of downhill.
Downhill is inherently a sprinting discipline. Our program focuses on improving repeatable, short distance sprinting power while ensuring racers can handle the high load from a race weekend.
For maximum benefit, we strongly encourage that you include a gym program while committing to training for downhill.

Our plans are custom built to suit all levels of rider. Whether you want to bag the KOM at your local trails or have aspirations to compete at World Cup level racing.
Built to suit individual riders, custom plans include regular checkups, off-bike training sessions and diet and nutrition advice. We can even include skills coaching sessions to make the most of your training time.
