A School holiday with a difference – kids mountain bike fun with expert guidance.

Attending our school holiday courses will develop a foundation of core skills and knowledge that will allow your children to ride safely while building confidence. We help to fend off pesky bad habits and common misconceptions that can hinder your kid’s riding development.

Kids Club

Course Details

Ages: 5-16 (groups will be split into abilities)

Ability: Kids are expected to be able to pedal up a short hill unassisted.

Time: 9am – 3pm (option for kids to arrive 30 mins before and stay for 30 mins after to allow parents to travel time to and from work)

Duration: 6 hours (with plenty of snack and water breaks)

Kit & Supplies

Lunch: Please supply your child with their own packed lunch each day; high in energy, with backup snacks, including enough water for the day (plus a bit extra just in case).

Kit: A well-fitting helmet is essential. Gloves and knee pads are strongly advised. Elbow pads and anything else is a bonus although may be too restrictive and unnecessary. We advise some waterproof clothing and a change of clothes, just in case of a deluge. If no knee/elbow pads then durable and protective long-sleeve/leg materials should be worn.

Bike: Please ensure your child’s bike is in good and safe working condition. Off-road tyres are a necessity. If you are unsure, please have it checked by a qualified mechanic beforehand. Flat pedals are preferred!

Tools: All participants should be self-sufficient – it breeds a good attitude for riding in the future. Please bring an appropriately-sized inner tube, pump, puncture repair kit and a basic multi-tool for the most common of trail-side repairs.
